On March, 21st a mass rally “Save Russian Family!” was held at the Bolotnaya square in Moscow. It was directed against introduction of “juvenile system”, “sexual education” at schools and instruction of “tolerant” attitude to sexual perverts. More than 5 thousand natives took part in the rally. There were also supportive actions in sympathy with the Moscow rally and its’ demands in 16 Russian cities.
The co-chairman of “Incorporated public committee for protection of family, childhood and morality” and “Narodny Sobor” V.Khomyakovconducted the rally.
The rally traditionally began with a short prayer offered up by the prior of the Patriarchal Farmstead of the Johann Predtechi Christmas Temple Patriarchal Farmstead in Sokolniki f.Ioann (Yermakov). Among speakers were the head of Synod department of mutual relations of Church and society of the Moscow Patriarchy Vsevolod Chaplin, a famous Orthodox preacher and missionary Oleg Stenyayev, a co-chairman of the Narodny Sobor Movement and a chairman of the Main Council of "Incorporated public committee for protection of family, childhood and morality" O.Kassin, members of the Main Council of "Union of Orthodox citizens of Russia”, the director of institute of demography I.Medvedeva, and the trustee of the Russian children's fund, the co-chairman of «Incorporated public committee for protection of family, childhood and morality» T.Shishova, the co-chairman of the Union of Russian writers, a famous Russian writer V.Krupin, a member of the Main Council of the All-Russian social movement «the All-Russia parental assembly» L.Ryabichenko (from Kaliningrad), a trustee of Noncommercial partnership for protection of family, childhood, person and health protection «Parental committee» L.Pavlova, the chairman of the All-Russian movement of the Numerous and Adoptive Families Community “Having many children is pleasant” and a co-chairman of «Incorporated public committee for protection of family, childhood and morality» T.Borovikova, the adviser of the Moscow Patriarchy representative in the Supreme Rada of Ukraine I.Druz, a famous writer-futurologist Maxim Kalashkikov (Vladimir Kucherenko), the chairman of the All-Russian public organisation «Union of Orthodox citizens» V.Lebedev, a co-chairman of the Russian congress of the people of Caucasus D.Khalidov, an archpriest Alexander Ilyashenko, etc.
At the end of the rally a resolution was adopted. The general clauses of this resolution are noted below.
RESOLUTION (general clauses)
Of the “Save Russian Family!” rally
(Moscow, Bolotnaya square, 21.03.2010)
1. We, the participants of the “Save Russian Family!” rally, address the insistent requirement to protect our constitutional rights trampled during introduction of juvenile system of western model to the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the power of Russian Federation:
• Stop vicious practice of the juvenile system introduction into so-called "pilot" regions of Russian Federation. Stop illegal taking children away from their families, the intervention of state structures in private life and educational process, questioning children without consent of their parents; collecting data about private life of parents with infringement of constitutional laws and freedom of citizens, training of children in their rights and freedom in separation from duties and the rights of parents;
• Do not allow the acceptance of the acts providing introduction of juvenile courts, juvenile technologies and ombudsmen service;
• Reconsider the current legislation in order to exclude points allowing to take children away from families without force-majeure not compatible to stay in a family (direct threat of life or to health of the child, attempt at his sexual inviolability, chronic alcoholism and narcotism, diminished responsibility of parents, etc.) and without a corresponding judicial permission;
• Stop ombudsmen service activity as an unconstitutional body as its’ activity is based on a principle of priority of the rights of children over the rights of their parents and it is directed to the introduction of this principle into family relations that conducts to permissiveness and impunity, cultivation of irresponsible and consumer relation to relatives, children's ungovernability. Such children can't become worthy citizens. Treat children using traditional models.
• Launch an investigation and make the guilty answerable for the permission of carrying out an anti-constitutional experiment on introduction of juvenile system into pilot regions of Russia and its financing at the expense of international funds means;
2. We express public distrust to the main lobbyists of juvenile system in Russia – to the deputies of State Duma E.Mizulina, E.Lakhova, to member of Public Chamber of Russian Federation O.Zykov. We demand a preschedule termination of their powers;
3. We consider necessary to stop the actions directed to an injury of public morality:
• Don’t permit to train our children in tolerant attitude to sexual perverts (including homosexuality and “sexual education” under cover of health protection);
• Stop the irresponsible and obscene mass-media policy. Introduce censorship with the assistance of public opinion representatives protecting moral values;
• Support the decision of J.Luzhkov (the Mayor of Moscow) to forbid gay parades. It must serve as an example to all other Russian mayors; organize numerous families parades instead of gay parades;
4. We offer these clauses to the executive and legislature of Russian Federation:
• To realize the formation of children’s rights concepts, bases of family and social policy of State with the assistance of parental communities, main religious faiths and public organizations protecting traditional moral values;
• To provide legal mechanism of performance by the state of the obligations concerning family support service, motherhood, paternity and the childhood, guaranteed in Article 7 of the Constitution of Russian Federation and proclaiming Russian Federation the social state. To give special attention to having many children and incomplete families, their appropriate financing and maintenance, measures of social protection;
• To develop real programs of family and youth policy, moral revival and improvement of society, military-patriotic education of a rising generation, struggle against alcoholism and narcotism, etc with the assistance of public organizations protecting traditional moral values. To realize them only by approbation of the nation.
